About
A small studio, built slowly.
Norrland Studio began in 2016 in a rented corner of a Gothenburg workshop, with one CNC router and a conviction that furniture should be built the way it used to be — slowly, and to last.
Today we remain deliberately small. Every piece that leaves the workshop has passed through the hands of someone who understands why it was made a certain way, not just how.
We work across product design, furniture and manufacturing, but the discipline is the same throughout: reduce until only what is necessary remains, then make it properly.

Craftsmanship
Every joint, seam and edge is considered — nothing is left to tolerance alone.

Precision
We measure twice, mill once, and hold ourselves to architectural tolerances.

Function
Decoration is never added to compensate for a form that hasn’t been resolved.
